The school improvement team was meeting in the library to discuss our school improvement plan (SIP) so we missed our book exchange time.

On the topic of improvement, I read an article about one US district's plan to improve included having eye exams and arrange the purchase of glasses for students.  Their test scores increase since their students could now read what was in front of them.  Thankfully, in Ontario, eye exams are still free for children.  Puberty, that charming part of life, is a major period of growth, so why not schedule an eye exam soon.
